Built in 1848, the Island Manor House is Chincoteague Island's most historic and romantic Inn built. Prior to the Civil War, two young men on Chincoteague Island pooled their resources and built a large Maryland "T" -shaped house on Main Street. These waterfront homes are located on the northeast side of Chincoteague Island. There are deep water docking facilities to moor your boat, and you can go crabbing just outside of your door.
